Board Politics

I'm not a very diplomatic person.  I think I'm probably too honest to deal with the intricacies of lying to folks just to get your way to be good at it.  Relatedly, I'm pretty blunt.  I try to say what I mean, and mean what I say, and I don't BS around too much.

And today it was pretty distressing to have confirmed that the president of my condominium board is a contemptible, ugly-spirited jerk.  A big rude meanie.

And, after I stomped around like a angry child for a while, and wrote a few emails I maybe shouldn't have, and then meditated and then talked to my bff for half an hour, I had to remind myself that moral superiority is its own reward.   I may have let this very disagreeable person ruin most of my day, but I will be the better person in the end by rising above and moving on.

I will also rock the living heck out of this condo board, and work to make this community better. Regardless of whether or not the president of the board feels it necessary to call people name or respond to emails more often than once every three weeks to four months.
