June 9, 2011 WindowFarm & Seedling Watch

June 9, 2011 French Thyme, Spanish Lavener (x2), Lemon Balm
(Clockwise from top Right)
These guys are all growing.  Slowly, but growing.  There's a big bush in front of the window that I've been asking my management company to ask our landscaper to deal with, and I think I finally made headway on that today.  These babies need more light!  I also finally got fertilizer, which will probably help, too.

June 9, 2011 Mints (and Jade, obstructed)
I've killed THREE sets of mint transplants from my parents' garden to my house.  How do you kill mint? It's a weed! It grows like crazy!  We've been digging it up in the root, putting it pots, and watering it.  Obviously, its not working, so we've moved onto cutting.  One fresh, top sprig of each, peppermint and chocolate mint.   Also, on the right hand side is my baby Jade, which is also not dead yet, but has shown no outside signs of growth (I'm going to assume it's working on its root structure!, I probably need to repot it with better soil soon.
