May 18, 2011 - The Herb Book
This is The Herb Book.  A Veritable bible of herbs---descriptions of over 2900 plants, their medicinal uses, and how to use them medicinally.  It was published in 1974 (this is a well-loved 2nd edition), by John Lust, a neuropath and son of a the father of homeopathy.  It's basically a big hippie bible of healing-via-plants.  It's kind of amazing.

May 18, 2011 Baby Plants
I think these two sets are finally coming to recognizability.  Some will be parsley (the ones on the right, I think), and the ones on the left will probably be kitchen celery.

May 18, 2011 Peppermit
The Chocolate mint that shared this pot died off, and there's some sort of light mold growing across the top.  I'll probably have to give up on this set, and start over with freshly-pulled plants from my folks' garden again.  I'll try using potting soil instead of garden dirt.

These tomatoes are getting a little out of hand, and I'll probably have to take them over to my folks' house.

May 18, 2011 Crowded Kitchen Window

My already tight kitchen is getting a little more crowded these days.  It's very exciting!
