Weekend / Weekday Gardener

I spent today gardening with my parents, for Mother's day.  I'm a little obsessed with the idea of the End Times, and thus have started mild preparations.  They have a wonderful garden full of a trillion different, so we put in a little Victory Garden:

Zucchini, Nasturtiums (edible flowers), Heirloom Pear Tomatoes, Lemon and French Thyme, Lemongrass, Lemon and Regular Basil, Chives, Lemon Cucumbers, Fennel, Regular & Chocolate Mint, Lemon Balm, Spring Onions, Heirloom Carrots,

My own apartment garden contains: Lemon Balm, Lemon Basil, Lemon Thyme. Lemongrass, Regular & Chocolate Mint, Spanish Lavender, Celery, Sweet Parsley, Four kinds of Heirloo Tomatoes,

Succulent Count: Jade, Aloe, Chin Cactus (Grafted Gymnocalycium Cultivars: cactus bottom with a hot pink top), Fairy Castle Cactus, Christmas Cactus, Sunrise Cactus, Living Stone (Lithops Bromfeldii) and a little purple succulent (Anacampseros rufscens).

I also ordered us each a set of rooted cuttings from a Meyer Lemon, a Key Lime and a Calamondin Orange (Meyer lemons are orange/lemon hybrids, calamondin oranges are Mandarin orange / kumquat hybrids) - I'm intending to dwarf mine, while my parents are getting a set and will likely let their get much bigger.

I may/may not be obsessed with lemon. And succulents.

Photos to come. It's dark now.
